Plantodecor® Premium wall paint
In the year 2014, the Bremen Environmental Institute (Bremer Umweltinstitut) tested and confirmed the biogenic origin of the binding agent Replebin® and the very low product emission of our Plantodecor wall paint.
In August 2017, the Bremen Environmental Institute reconfirmed these results.
„An important focal point of our work is the examination and evaluation of pollutants in interior areas. The evaluation of construction materials includes tests of the emission behaviour according to the AgBB scheme, the examination of the product formulation, production control and, in the case of Plantodecor, also the verification of the biogenic nature of the binding agent.
The test results allow for a health related evaluation, performed in the case of the current example by means of the regular monitoring of the interior wall paint Plantodecor.
Our accredited laboratory confirms to AURO the biogenic basis of the binding agent Replebin and the very low product emission."
The term „premium“ is appropriate for this new product because it enters the market as the world‘s first ecological wall paint without any technical limitations.
The new premium wall paint combines all technical features of a conventional wall paint and AURO’s consistent raw material philosophy.

The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy supported us within the framework of their central investment program for small and medium-sized businesses (ZIM). The project resulted in the development of an innovative biogenic binding agent for coating materials: Replebin®.
Replebin® consists of plant alcohol ester with organic acids. The innovative binding agent is legally protected and available exclusively from AURO.
The new production unit for biogenic binding agents required an investment of 1.1 million EUR.
